This course will be interactive to allow as much exchange between the experts on the podium and in the audience to understand how obesity medications can be optimised before and after metabolic and bariatric surgery. The objectives are to increase the use of obesity medications before and after metabolic and bariatric surgery by reducing side effects and by increasing long term benefit. The course will explore ways how obesity medications can result in an increased number of metabolic and bariatric surgery operations to allow better care for more people with the disease of obesity.
